Construction technology in architecture and interior design is the field I have been involved in since high school and college. I was a construction worker, craftsman, foreman, architectural construction technician, construction engineer, site manager, and entrepreneur; today I am a teacher of construction technology & practice at Construction Vocational High School in Belgrade. My students used to call me a professor of dry construction since 2008 when we won first place at the Knauf Junior Trophy (international competition in dry construction systems fitting). My priority is always occupational safety & health and risk assessment, based on my education and training, and national OSHA license.
My specialty is construction technology in architecture, as well as safety and health on construction sites.
I “became” a builder in my early childhood by assembling Lego blocks into various house shapes, which I continued to master when I grew up, and safety on construction sites and health protection “became” my topic when I first hit my finger with a hammer; so I continued in this direction with my education, first in high school at the Architectural Technical High School in Belgrade as an architectural technician, and then as a construction engineer (7.1 level) at the Academy of Technical and Artistic Vocational Studies (ATTUS) in Belgrade, department of the College of Construction Engineering and Surveying.
Today, in this sense, I note the following:
- teacher of construction technology and practice (official) / licensed teacher of practice in the construction profession;
- professor of dry construction (unofficial) / Knauf Academy Dry Construction Award 2017 / International competition of young installers of dry construction Knauf Junior Trophy – as a mentor with his students 2008 first place, 2017 second place.
- National Laureate in the field of Occupational Safety and Health, awarded by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs of the Republic of Serbia – Directorate for Safety and Health at Work, April 28, 2022, in Belgrade.
- professional construction engineer – specialist (7.1 NOKS / 240 ESPB / four years of study) – specialist in construction management/construction engineering – 2010
- Work experience in the profession since 1992; as a craftsman, technician, engineer/contractor, and teacher of the construction technology and practice of the construction profession.
Yours
